I’ve been asked a lot about the interior vibe for the next studio… Will it be the same?

The answer is… it depends on who you ask: my Pinterest board, Chat GPT, or my mood board on Canva… They all say something slightly different right now 🤣

What I can tell you is… It will be 100% me. I loveee beige and gold as much as the next girl, but I also want to inject a little colour + fun here and there.

The space will be designed to feel calm and familiar, but also a little different to my last space.

Organic, natural, textures, sculptural… 🐚🪵🌵

… And maybe a bit of sparkle, because why tf not. It’s the AURA studio after all ✨💜🪩🤎🎀

… No lipstick effect here, girls. My lip blush style is sheer, natural and tinted. Not HD or full coverage.

There are lots of artists out there who will mimic your makeup, but my goal for clients is to have an enhanced base on no makeup days - so your face still looks like yours, but you just feel more put together without doing anything 🪄

My goal is NOT to replace your makeup completely.

Why? Because makeup and permanent makeup are very different.

💄 Makeup: You can go bold as you like with your makeup and wash it off each day. You can change up the style and it doesn’t change colour - it sits on top of the skin, not under the skin.

🖊️ Permanent makeup: You cannot have any colour you like. We need to be mindful of certain pigment colours, what your undertones are, the skin texture and quality, how the colour composition will heal and fade over time.

PMU becomes part of the skin, and so we don’t want to drastically change what’s natural for you, but simply enhance it.

Hues of mauve for these M shaped lips 🍇💜🪻✨

M shaped lips are when the lips have a more prominent, full centre in the top lip, compared to the outer lip 👄

I get asked a lot: “Can I have lip blush if I have m shaped lips?”

The answer is.. Absolutely! M-shaped lips are a little more tricky to tattoo, they can be more prone to swelling. My client had a little pigment loss on the Cupids bow too, so the goal was to even this out and soften the Cupids bow.

These will heal a lovely subtle mauve tone. We’ll build on the mauve tones over the two sessions - I’ll always be cautious with browns and purples to avoid lips that heal overly cool toned.

Permanent makeup isn’t about the initial results, it’s allll about those healed results long term ✨
