This is not just a drum… it is medicine.

For thousands of years, medicine drums have been used by many Indigenous cultures in ceremonies, healing, prayer and community gatherings. The steady heartbeat of the drum is often said to mirror the heartbeat of Mother Earth and the first sound we ever hear in the womb our mother’s heartbeat.

The deep, rhythmic vibrations can help calm the nervous system, encourage relaxation, and create a space where the mind can become still. Many people experience a sense of grounding, peace and emotional release as the sound travels through the body.

The Tree of Life design symbolises strength, growth, wisdom, connection and the cycle of life. Its roots remind us to stay grounded, while its branches encourage us to reach upwards, embracing personal growth and spiritual connection.

During my sound baths, the medicine drum is played with intention, respect and gratitude. It is not about performance it is about creating a nurturing space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and simply receive whatever you need in that moment.

The drum doesn’t just create sound… it creates connection, presence and healing through vibration. 💗🌳🥁

Had a lovely weekend at the healing festival was very hot, met some lovely people and had lots of healing myself so I’m very chilled🧘‍♀️

This beautiful peacock butterfly came flying into our home tonight and flo was so gentle with it think at one point it landed on flo nose.

Seeing one in your home

Many people feel that a butterfly entering a home is a meaningful sign. Depending on personal beliefs, it can symbolize:

* A period of positive change.
* Good luck or blessings.
* A reminder to embrace growth and let go of the past.
* A moment to pause and appreciate beauty and life’s fleeting moments.

Together, we created a beautiful space of peace, healing, and kindness and because of your generosity, we’ve also been able to make a difference beyond the room.

Every donation will go towards helping PBA feed people experiencing homelessness. Knowing that our practice together can bring comfort not only to ourselves but also to those who need it most is incredibly humbling.
