46 and suddenly scared of ladders, phone calls and driving in the dark 🙃
Trying to get my glow back one serum and lipstick at a time 💄✨
Local Avon rep (don’t worry, I’m not knocking on doors… it’s all online now 😂)

Love this nail varnish, it has covered my bruised nail which is a result, it goes on really nice and smooth, lots of other colours available but I love this colour for the winter and only £4!
Please log into my Avon link in my bio for this and lots more affordable beauty 😍

Finally finished my teddy block, this has helped me when I felt anxious or stressed, and helped me to stop picking the skin around my thumb or chewing my nails which used to be my goto response. I now have healthier nails and skin 😁 I have 2 more bears to do 👍

I turned 47 on Friday… which suddenly means only 3 years to the big 50 😅
Such a strange feeling, because when I was younger I remember thinking my parents in their mid-40s were old…
Pretty sure my kids think the same about me now 😂
As I head towards 50, I don’t want to dread it — I want to feel the best I can.
I keep hoping I’ll glide from peri-menopause straight into menopause and wake up one day refreshed, calm, anxiety-free and ready for the day 🤞 (a girl can dream, right?)
But on this quiet Sunday, with a cuppa and a cat on my lap, I’m reminding myself of the good stuff too.
I’m 47.
I’m healthy.
Yes, menopause and endometriosis have their moments — but there’s still so much I can control.
So today is about resetting gently, being kind to myself, and focusing on what really matters ✨
Here’s to taking midlife one calm step at a time 🤍

Our little girl is having an operation tomorrow, and I won’t lie — I’m already stressing 😢
My mind is doing that thing where it runs through every possible question…
Will she be okay?
Will her recovery go smoothly?
Will she understand why I’m leaving her at the vet?
Will she think I’m not coming back for her? 💔
I’ve had dogs all my life, but this one feels different.
She’s less like a pet and more like my child — probably because my kids are older now and don’t need me in the same way anymore.
If you’re a dog mum, you’ll get it.
They really do take up a huge piece of your heart 🐾💗
Thinking positive thoughts tonight and reminding myself she’ll be home soon, none the wiser… while I’ll be the emotional wreck 😂🤍

Can you see the difference in 2 months? I think my fine lines are reduced and under my eyes are less dark and puffy. All I did was change my skincare to the Anew range from Avon, I think if we all have a good skincare routine and drink more water then our skin can definitely improve. I wish I could completely remove the fine line and wrinkles but I have to accept I am going to be 47 next week and I need to be happy with what I have and I don't want to go down the Botox or filler root (just my own preference at the moment).

don’t know if anyone else feels like this… but taking the dog for a walk can sometimes make my anxiety go into overdrive 🐾
I worry about things I never used to think twice about —
What if another dog attacks her?
What if she runs off and doesn’t come back when she’s off the lead?
What if something happens and I don’t know what to do?
My brain loves to run through every possible scenario before we’ve even left the house.
And even when nothing happens, I come home feeling mentally exhausted — just from the worrying.
I know it probably sounds silly to some people, but if you get it… you really get it.
Midlife anxiety has a funny way of attaching itself to everyday things that once felt simple.
I’m learning to take things one step at a time — shorter walks, keeping her on the lead when I need to, reminding myself that most of the time, things are actually okay 💕
If you’ve ever felt anxious about something that should feel easy, please know you’re not alone.
And if this resonates with you, I hope you’ll stick around — this page is all about real life, real worries, and finding our confidence again together ✨
