I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂‍↔️

Meet Gracie 🤍 Gracie|SPMU, BROWS & LASHES

Gracie came to us in February to train in SPMU Brows, travelling 4 hours all the way from Wiltshire for her training 🥹🥹

Before SPMU, Gracie was already offering lash extensions, lash lifts and brow laminations, but wanted to expand her treatment menu and take her business further 📈

After completing her brow course, she got straight to work and has been doing so so well !!

She actually made her course investment back and just 3 months later, came back to us in May to train in Lip Blush too 😆

We absolutely LOVE seeing students take what they’ve learnt and build on it, and Gracie is a perfect example of that 🫶🫶

We’re so proud of how far she’s come already and can’t wait to see what she does next! 🥰🥰🤍🤍

If you really want to understand colour theory, you need to understand why you’re choosing a certain colour for a certain client and what will happen once that pigment is implanted and healed 👄

From natural lip tone and undertones to pigment types, mixing and predicting healed results, there’s so much more to it than picking a pretty colour from your pigment shelf.

That’s exactly why I created my Mastering Lip Blush Colour Theory online course 🤍

A simple, in-depth course designed to help you understand the theory behind your colour choices so you can feel much more confident when choosing and mixing pigments 🎨

I’ve never really believed there is a perfect time to do anything 🤷‍♀️

I’ve always been quite impulsive. If I want to do something, I’ll usually just do it. If I have an idea, I’ll give it a go. If there’s something I want for my life, I don’t want to sit around waiting for everything to line up perfectly first.

And that mindset got me to where I am today.

Not because I always knew exactly what I was doing, but because I stopped waiting and started doing.

There will always be a reason to wait. Another course to do, more money to save, more experience to get, a better time to start...

Sometimes you just have to take the chance and figure it out as you go.

I’d rather look back and know I tried than wonder what could’ve happened if I’d just started 🤍

One of the key benefits of training with us is knowing you’ll never be just another student on another course ❌❌

You’re joining a community of artists who have trained with us, who are all at different stages of their SPMU careers and who can learn, share and support each other along the way 🤝

And looking back at some of the students I’ve trained, it’s so special to see how much that community has grown 🥹

So if you’re thinking about training in SPMU, we’d love to have you be a part of it 🤍🤍

Sometimes it’s not about completely changing every step of the way you work (that is wayyyy too overwhelming)

It’s about understanding the small details that have a hugeee impact on your finished result 🫶

- Perfecting your outline
- Understanding your needle depth
- Choosing the right colour for your client

These are just a few areas I go into inside my EML Level Up Your Lip Blush Online Masterclass !!

If you’re already offering Lip Blush but want to feel more confident in your technique and start getting more consistent results, this is exactly what I created Level Up for 🚀🚀

I think when I first became self-employed, I was mainly thinking about the career I wanted to build.

I wanted to do something I loved, earn good money and eventually have a successful business.

But I don’t think I fully understood how much my business would change the way I live my life too 🥹

Being able to book a last-minute holiday, take a random Tuesday afternoon off, have a slow morning, go for lunch with a friend or say yes to plans without having to check a rota or ask for permission are all things that are very much possible for me every single week.

Those little things probably sound insignificant, but when you realise you get to build your work around the life you want rather than your whole life around work, it changes everything 🥹🫶

7 years into being self-employed and I think that freedom is one of the things I’m most grateful for.

It’s not just about being your own boss. It’s about creating a life that you actually want to live. And I’ll never take that for granted 🤍
