I’d like to dispel the myths that a hot stone massage involves laying still & have the hot stones just placed on your body. That is purely a marketing picture for the treatment!

Theses are my favourite hot stones! I hold them in my hands & glide them over the oiled body to warm & relax the muscles.

Did you know that massage causes the release of a hormone called oxytocin? This is very beneficial in labour as it stimulates contractions & postnatally it aids the “let down reflex” when breastfeeding. Something I have actually witnessed in my clients!

Hot stones massage is a really wonderful treatment. The warmth & heat help the muscles to relax quickly so I can massage the “knots” out more easily.
