Please sign and share this petition for my friend and her family.

Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) is a rare hereditary disease that progressively affects movement, balance, coordination and the nervous system. Sadly, several members of her family are affected, and many are parents to young children.

FA can significantly shorten life expectancy, often because of serious heart complications. There is currently no cure, which is why access to treatments like Omaveloxolone is so important.

Please take a minute to sign and help give families like theirs the best possible chance of more time together. ❤️

Petition: Fund NHS access to Omaveloxolone for patients with Friedreich's Ataxia We call on the Government to fund NHS access to Omaveloxolone in the UK. We believe the drug should also be considered under the HST programme, which we feel is the only appraisal route which reflects the realities of Friedreich's Ataxia. This is a degenerative disease & time is of the essence.
