What’s best for you?
- cluster lashes are the new craze just now, I personally have used them and think they are great! However, some things you might not know about them or your own lashes.
-When you have lash extensions you need to maintain them and wash them, you can’t wash clusters. This means the little lash mites that live in your lashes have a breeding ground and are not being manage, so when you see an orange substance on your clusters, yes that is mite p**p! So I would recommend not wearing clusters for longer than 3 days in a row so you can clean your lash line!
- they are definitely a cheaper alternative to lash extensions and take a lot less time for application. But the reason lash extensions are so expensive and take so long is for a reason.
- our lashes all grow at different rates and if we are using strip lashes or clusters for a extended period of time it can cause TRACTION ALOPECIA.. yes your lashes can fall out.😱 this happens because one lash is growing faster but is stuck to the same cluster so it pulls the shorter weaker lashes with it and pulls them out! This can also happen with inaccurately applied lash extensions. This is why you should also check and be cautious if someone can apply a full set in a short period of time. Ie 45 mins.
- you ✨ DO NOT ✨ need to take a break from lash extensions. If your lash tech is using safe practices methods to apply your lashes then they should be just as healthy underneath. Applying lashes too thickly for your natural lash or to heavily can also cause traction alopecia.
