a wee post to say the sunbed is currently out of use due to the acrylic on the bed being cracked and unusable, a reminder of why it’s important not to use oil based excellerators and this weakens the acrylic on the beds 🥲🩷

will try and get in touch with the company and get it fixed as soon as possible xx

we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding this week while a couple of our girls were off sick and in hospital.
with it being so busy we can understand how frustrating it can be to have to be rescheduled if you have plans/events, but we always try our absolute best to fit people in by starting earlier and finishing later, but we want to make it clear that abuse or rudeness towards any of our staff will NOT be tolerated.
We work so so hard to get everyone done and to a high standard but as humans we can’t help when we fall unwell. We hate to put posts up like this but we have to remind everyone that we are human too. We provide a service but we are not machines.

In the UK and Ireland, around five children are diagnosed with cancer each week. Thats around 1820 each year.

Cure rates for children are much higher than for most adult cancers. On average, 82% (over 8 in 10) of all children survive their cancer for five years or more. For some types of children’s cancer, the cure rate is much higher. However, for some types of childhood cancer, cure rates are much lower and less progress has been made. Further research is urgently needed.

Cancer remains the number 1 cause of death by disease for children. Sadly, around 230 children die from cancer each year. 😔
