Sorry for the long post but…as some of you may know we are taking a short break visiting Stockholm!
A beautiful city in many ways, something that goes above and beyond the architecture, arts and delicious food!

Today I seen something different: the Swedish people’s will and believe is what make this country so beautiful.

I was impressed by the fact that businesses are truly doing their best with concrete actions and deliberate choices and I believe the government have set the good path to follow…

From compostable take-away cutlery, coffee cups, coffee lids and even the restaurant menu, giving me a clear message: they are working very hard to make it better, and protect the Earth for everybody’s future.

Let’s talk about the menu: every food choice showed how much CO2 emission were released into the atmosphere. Nearly every choice was costing the same, and I felt there was a intentional message here: for the same money you can make the difference to our environment. So the focus was on the green choice and people’s responsibility rather than the choice itself. How clever!

So why is it different in other countries, where the eco choice is a marketing tool to charge you more money with the inevitable discrimination and preventing people from making the right choice for the environment? This made me very sad…caring for our environment shouldn’t be a privilege!

Thank you Stockholm for showing me that there is a better way, a kind way to educate, an honest and responsible way to bring awareness and real actions on this matter!🌍❤️🇸🇪🌱
