On July 19th,the guidelines concerning businesses such as Chair and our procedures concerning creating a safe environment for clients and employees will change due to the relaxing of the laws,however as a company we will not alter any of our procedures,we will still adhere to social distancing,the wearing of all P.P.E by employees and clients,the sanitising of all equipment and seating and the many other procedures Chair have become accustomed too.
Our priority is to keep clients and employees safe and to give them a environment which is relaxing and enjoyable and to make everyone feel safe in the knowledge that Chair will never put profit before the welfare of the public.

Once again we would like to thank our wonderful clients for there support over the last two weeks,and there compliance concerning COVID-19 guidelines.
All our team are participating in the use of lateral flow testing twice a week and all results have been negative. We feel this is not only due to the salons stringent following of guidelines,the team’s behaviour outside the work environment but the respect our clients have for ourselves and the salon.

Chair Salons are celebrating there 30th anniversary this year. Many salons and there owners have not been as fortunate as ourselves and have either been forced to relinquish employees or shut down completely. Our hearts go out to those people in our industry,and we wish them all a speedy and successful recovery.
To celebrate this milestone Chair Salons are committed to expanding the salons and creating opportunities for talented,enthusiastic people.

Thank you all again for the support and love you have given us over the past three months. It is confirmed we can re-open on April 12th which is a huge boost to the hair industry as a whole. There are concerns that people may have become more susceptible to reactions that involve colour applications so to put your minds at rest we will be carrying out skin tests to any client who requires one prior to there appointment,please ring the salon to arrange this service,it takes approximately 1 minute.
We are hugely excited to see you all again.

Chair would like to thank all our wonderful clients for there ongoing support. We feel extremely privileged that clients have remained loyal and have required our services from 12th April. We are aware many of you have tried to book online however due to the salon wishing to respect our loyal client base we do not believe the online service is appropriate at present,also as the salon will continue to make employees and clients safety a priority the salon will still follow stringent guidelines concerning social distancing and sanitising.
Chair are working tirelessly to create a far better salon experience,we are creating our own ‘app’ which will allow our clients to book appointments and recieve information on new developments,products and our teams advice,acievments and recommendations. We are also creating a system where all clients will be advised to book a twice yearly consultation,this is so we can discuss every aspect of what our clients want to achieve regarding there hair and help us achieve it. All client needs will be discussed from cut,colour,finish,condition and of course how to enable clients to manage between visits.

The Welsh government are allowing hair salons to open from Monday. I hope all goes well. This seems premature to myself as children have just returned to school and there are instances within the U.K. were the reported number of cases of Covid-19 have risen slightly,however we will not see a complete picture for another 10 days.
Hair salons when they re-open will have to be just as conscientious regarding the use of PPE and the sanitisation of all areas if not more so. This is due to many of our clients will have been vaccinated therefore they will have no symptoms if they have COVID-19 or carry it,this is due to the miraculous roll out of vaccines across the U.K. However many of hair salon employers and employees will not have been vaccinated as the demographics of our industry is under the age of persons vaccinated,therefore our industry must keep up the fantastic standards we have set throughout the pandemic so we will never be forced to shut again.
Chair salons wish our compatriots in Wales good luck on there return to work,and to all there stylists,trainees and clients please follow the guidelines,don’t let standards slip the virus is not going away.

Due to the Government’s statement that hair salons can open on the 12th April if all goes well we have decided to open our appointments from that date.

Chair Salons would like to yet again thank all our fantastic clientele for the messages of support.
As you are aware we are not working however as a company we have always worked for local charities. At present we are looking for donations of household items for women and there families who are being rehoused from refuse accommodation to houses of there own. These items include anything from cutlery,pans,bedding to furniture.
We will collect any items.

Chair would like to thank all our clients new and old for making this a special year. Some may believe this year has been a disaster but due to your continued support and your affection for us as a hair salon it has made us feel extremely lucky and love our industry so much.
The New Year will bring many changes and Chair are looking forward to the growth of our buisness and the positive changes this will bring.
