🍰 CLASSIC TRES LECHES CAKE — SOFT, CREAMY & IRRESISTIBLE

This cake is incredibly moist, milky, light and perfect for any occasion. Every bite melts in your mouth. 😍

Ingredients:

For the cake:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
5 eggs
¾ cup sugar
⅓ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

For the tres leches mixture:

1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup whole milk

For the topping:

2 cups heavy whipping cream
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Ground cinnamon, optional
Fresh strawberries, optional

Directions:

Beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the milk and vanilla, then gently fold in the flour and baking powder.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F / 175°C for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool slightly, then poke holes all over the surface with a fork.
Mix the evaporated milk, condensed milk and whole milk. Slowly pour the mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in completely.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla, then spread it over the cake.
Finish with a little cinnamon or fresh strawberries, slice and serve cold.

The result is a super soft, creamy cake soaked in sweet milk with a light whipped topping. 🤤
