Just incase you forgot we exist, as we’re better at cutting hair than posting to our walls…case in point…here’s some some recent work by resident barber Gavin that speaks for itself!

Gavin turns 21 today, which is impressive—mainly because he’s looked about 35 since he was 18!
He’s got a voice so deep it doesn’t just speak, it arrives. You don’t hear Gavin talk, you feel it slightly in your chest like surround sound. If whales ever need a spokesperson, he’s already qualified.
Over the years, he’s properly grown into himself—and into his hair, which he occasionally styles when the moment calls for it. And to be fair, when he does, it actually looks decent… which makes it even more confusing when he doesn’t.
But that’s Gavin. Low effort, high impact. Says a few words, gets a laugh, and somehow becomes the centre of things without even trying.
Genuinely though, he’s a solid lad and great asset to have around the shop!

So I said “everyone let’s keep the door shut because of the Pigeons”…I meant to keep them out…not to keep them in….what a day!

Here we observe the elusive diary opening - .tony._ in his natural habitat…sitting down without a care in the world!
At first glance, he is nearly impossible to detect — perfectly adapted to his surroundings with his Realtree camouflage.
But if you squint carefully… there he is… balloon in hand!
Today marks a significant moment in the life cycle of this fascinating creature — his birthday. A time of celebration, reflection…and continued questionable humour.
Notably, the Big Tony is known for several defining traits:
A fearless motorbike rider…
A car crash extraordinaire…
And impressively, a master of the clippers with the precision of a seasoned artisan.
Researchers have also observed that he has owned nearly as many vehicles as he has candles on his birthday cake — a remarkable, if slightly concerning, statistic.
Despite his chaotic tendencies, he remains a beloved figure within the Lowe’s Barber Shop ecosystem… a true all-round legend.
So today, we celebrate him.

The sun’s finally out ☀️ so it’s the perfect time to give the shop sign a proper clean!
No one tells you this part of being a business owner…
The early starts.
The constant mental to-do list.
And jumping up and down on the bins at 6am like it’s a competitive sport — because the rubbish has somehow doubled overnight.
It’s all the unseen stuff.
The jobs no one claps for.
The work that happens before the day has even started.
But somehow… it’s still worth it!!!
