13 weeks to home salon opening.
Amazing work on the fireplace, it was under 100s of layers of gloss, beautiful renovation work so far.
Shelving has been added into the alcoves to enable me to store all the materials and resources needed to offer you the best treatments.
Black gloss work started, still more layers of gloss needed to finish off the high gloss look.
Salon is starting to take shape. Next week the floor will be going down and then I can start adding furniture :)

Lots of changes in the salon, colour chosen this lovely earthy green. The fireplace has been stripped and starting to look so much better. I have started purchasing lots of things for the new salon, so excited to show you more changes as I get them done :)

Little update on the progress I have made.
- Salon walls white washed ready for some colour
- Alcove shelf brackets made for my salon storage
- Ceiling in the shower room painted ready for shower panels to go in
- Stripping off about a 100 lumpy layers of gloss off the fireplace
I will be posting January availability for regular salon appointments in 4 weeks onwards, so keep your eyes peeled for these dates to be released, I will be fully booked very quickly.

5 % complete Salon Renovation Begins …
I am very excited to get my salon renovation started. There’s a lot of work to get this salon client ready. Lots of ideas in my head, things to sort through, new items to purchase.
So far the walls have been improved with two tubs of plaster and hours of sanding to give a nice finish to the paint work to come. The woodwork has been repaired and sanded down. The shower room has been removed so that it can be redone.
16 weeks and 1 day to go before opening the doors to my new salon 🙂

Change to Services
From January 2027
I currently offer a mobile service, however I have made the decision to take my services back in house offering a home based setting for my services from January 2027. I will also be making some adjustments to appointment times. My current clients will get first refusal to choose a regular appointment with me in my home based setting or I will do my best to find them a mobile practitioner that can come to them, if they prefer that option. Once all current clients have decided what they would like to do, any appointments left will be advertised out for anyone to book.
I appreciate I have made a few changes to how my business runs over the last couple of years, I’ve just been discovering what treatments I want to offer which will be staying to
- Foot Health
- Reflexology
- Overlay Manicure
- Tarot Readings
These are the treatments/services I absolutely love to do and these will be staying, I will not be adding further treatments to this list.
I have tried a home based salon and now a mobile service. I can’t help it, I’m missing having my home based salon so much. I am currently renovating my house so all services this year will stay mobile, but once the house is complete by Christmas, I will then by taking all appointments home based again and my mobile service will cease.
This is just a little message to give anyone that stays up to date on my page a heads up, but I will be talking to every client individually at their next appointment and making a plan with them, depending on what they would like to do # # #
