6 years ago today this first picture was taken! I took the leap in the middle of Covid and became self-employed… and what a journey it’s been! 🥹🤍

11 and a half years ago I began as an apprentice, I honestly can’t believe how quickly the years have passed or how much has happened since that very first day. All the long hours and manyyyy late nights have totally been worth it🥺

I absolutely LOVE my job. I feel incredibly lucky that after all these years, it still doesn’t really feel like work. So many of my clients have become friends, and I feel so grateful for the relationships we’ve built along the way.

We’ve been through so much together!! Engagements, weddings, babies, new jobs, breakups, new beginnings, highs, lows and everything in between. You’ve trusted me with so many of life’s moments and so many of you have been there to share mine too. It’s pretty special to look back and realise how much of our lives we’ve shared sitting in that salon chair🤍

I’ve also been so lucky to have shared the biggest part of this journey with Ella. Having the salon together has been such a fun chapter of my career, lots of laughs, memories and moments I’ll never forget! 🥰 …and renovating the salon together while quite pregnant is also something I don’t think I’ll forget 😂😂

Six years of being my own boss, doing something I genuinely love, surrounded by the most amazing clients and girls at work, I really couldn’t ask for much more.

Thank you to every single person who has supported me, trusted me, laughed with me, cried with me and continued to come back year after year. You’ve made these last 6 years so special🤍

Here’s to 6 years self-employed… and 11.5 years of doing what I love! 🥂✨

Returning to work update 💫

I’m still very much soaking up all the newborn cuddles, sleepless nights and figuring out how our tiny human works 😂👶🏼 but I’m excited to announce that I’ll be back in the salon this December 💅🏽

I’ll be returning on reduced hours while I find my new mum/work-life balance, so my availability will be a little more limited than before.

I can’t wait to see all your lovely faces again, catch up on everything I’ve missed and get back behind the chair!

Just a little update for everyone wanting to know 🥰 we’ve had a little girl, Winnie🥹🩷🫶🏼 I’ve had so many lovely messages from so many of you checking in thank you so much 💞

I still can’t believe I’ve finished work to have a baby 🥹 I just want to say thank you so very much for all your well wishes, cards, gifts, flowers and vouchers 🤎 I am so lucky to have such thoughtful and generous clients, I’m already looking forward to all the things we will have to catch up on when I’m back!
I’m still not quite sure when I will be back, but as soon as I know, I will let you all know in plenty of time. Meanwhile, I’m so grateful that I work with the best girls that’ll be doing their best to fit you in and look after you🫶🏼
Thank you to my other half (Ella🥹) for making my final day in the salon so lovely, I’m going to miss being attached at the hip🫶🏼
