My heart feels especially heavy today.

The massive fire in Hong Kong — where seven buildings went up in flames — has shaken me deeply. Wang F*k Court, the place where I grew up, was among them. My parents still live there, and while I’m beyond grateful they are safe, our home is completely gone.

It’s so hard to describe what it feels like to lose the place that held so many precious memories. The rooms, the moments, the laughter, the little pieces of life that made that home ours… they’re no longer there physically, but they live on in my heart.

I’m keeping everyone affected by this tragedy in my thoughts. I hope every family finds safety, strength, and comfort during such a difficult time. Moments like this remind me just how precious loved ones are — family will always be my first priority.

I hope you get to hold your loved ones close and find warmth in the people who matter most. Wishing you a gentle, grateful holiday. 🧡
