Please may I ask my clients who feel strongly against this to register their objection to Burnley Council Planning dept, please type in the postcode BB12 OHG which then brings up the Planning details. Our area cannot cope with the extra parking, and I want my ladies and gents to feel completely safe when attending my salon in adjacent businesses. As usual we were not informed as a resident salon with clients to think about, or the affect it may have to parking, safety and the obvious loop hole in the Planning which will affect all if the immediate area. We need support to stop affecting our livelihoods and most of all overall safety in this area, particularly for the children.. It is just way too close to the school !. Congestion amongst lots of other things is an absolute nightmare!
Please can u help by objecting via the Burnley Council Website, finding Planning applications, then type in the postcode BB12 OHG, It will then allow you to fill in your details to submit an appeal. You do not need to live in the area to object, if it affects you as one of my customers with the parking/safety, then all appeals are considered..Many thanks Lesley. X

Hi ladies, I have been in salon..weather not been as bad now, but still terribly icy so please be careful when travelling in to salon..had to share this as those of you who know, my son alex always loved making snowmen with me before I fell ill..we made some funny ones years ago but not this bad lol! Oh dear 😱🤣🤣

Hi ladies, I know this is a late message as i am keeping a close eye on the weather! I will endeavour to get into work only if the roads and paths are not treacherous. I am sure you will understand that this works both ways, as I cannot risk falling at the moment myself.. If I can even get in for part of the day if it all miraculously melts then i will.

If I have to cancel then I may have to work on Sunday to do my best to catch up for most needy where possible. I know it's not ideal but we cannot predict the weather. I DO NOT want any of my elderly clients risking coming out to the salon until it is safe to do so as many of you live in places where streets and drives do not get gritted well; or not at all!!

I know we all joke that nails are the end of the world when they need doing, but honestly stay safe, i dont want any broken bones or hips! Anyone that thinks they can wait till their next appointment is due over the next few days; please let me know.

Hi, happy new year to you all and hope you all had a great Christmas! Just to let you all know that appointments are being sent out to you all today..I am back in work on 6th January. If any of you need to change any of your appts, if you can please do it in person in salon I would appreciate it so I can keep track.

Should you need to cancel any appointments, please remember to respectfully give me a minimum of 24/48 hours notice or late cancellation fees may be charged. If I get notice I can at least rearrange or fill the slot, without adequate notice I lose my wage. I do not work for free, and it takes me days to arrange pre-booked slots in my diary, please remember to re-arrange or cancel in advance...many thanks for your understanding in this matter.
