• yesterday was definitely glitz & glam. We did a cool n**e tone for Sam on her eyes as we done on her trial, with cluster lashes to give more natural lashes & followed with some PILLOW TALK lipstick & liner 👄

JADE ✨

Jade was a bridesmaid for her sisters wedding yesterday & she never wears makeup. Jade suffers with eczema but wanted to feel glam for the day. We did a Smokey eye with half lash & a n**e lip 👄

Chanel ✨

• she wanted to have lots of bronzer but little eye makeup or face. Skin tint was used. Chanel normally puts one cluster on the end and likes mascara on the rest so that’s what we did for her. We kept the brows free from filling in & just used brow gel. Glowy ✨

This mother of the bride wanted to go GLAM for her daughters wedding yesterday & we did just that, finishing off with a red lip 😮‍💨

Is they something else you could add that I have not mentioned??

I’ve been reflecting on this topic quite a lot recently, and it strikes me that it’s something that isn’t discussed often enough. It also made me wonder whether wedding venues are aware of the challenges and considerations that many of us working within the wedding industry experience on a regular basis.

Of course, I appreciate that venue teams are not makeup artists or hair stylists, so they may not always be aware of the practical requirements we need in order to work efficiently and provide the best possible service. This is completely understandable, as it falls outside their area of expertise.

However, it would be interesting to know whether venues consult wedding professionals when renovating or redesigning their spaces. Do they seek feedback from those of us who regularly work on-site about what facilities, layouts, or features would help create a more practical and productive working environment?

I also recognise that not every venue has the capacity, budget, or physical space to accommodate every request. That said, where opportunities exist to introduce improvements that benefit both suppliers and clients, it would be great to see more venues consider implementing them.
