If you have an Opuntia cactus and would like some extra care tips, I’ve made a new YouTube video all about Opuntia care.

I cover everything from the right light, watering, propagating, pests and so much more.

My Opuntia grew from a tiny plant into a large, healthy plant and there’s no sign of it slowing down.

Begonia Tamaya is one of my favourite plants, especially when it starts to flower!

So my mission is to rescue this very neglected plant, to get it full of leaves and flowers 🌱🌸

I’ve mixed together a healthy soil with bark, perlite, worm castings and coco coir.

Even though I have worm castings in the soil for a slow release fertiliser, I still use to top up on nutrients for my plant.

I’ll update on growth very soon 🤞🏻

Do you fertilise your plants?

My last YouTube video is all about the most beautiful indoor and outdoor plant designs that I came across on trips to South Africa and Portugal.

Cleverly designed indoor spaces where nature is visible from every corner that you turn and gardens of dreams that I loved exploring.

A lovely morning at 📍FORNHAM ALL SAINTS EAT|DRINK|GOOD TIMES ✨️ for a surprise ‘hen do’ terrarium making session.

The Bride had already enjoyed a Hen Party away with friends so her Mum and Grandma surprised her with breakfast, followed by terrarium making.

Just the 3 of them, enjoying a quiet morning before the big day.

Thank you 📍FORNHAM ALL SAINTS EAT|DRINK|GOOD TIMES ✨️ as always for delicious food and for hosting us.

If you have a Year 6 making their way one final time to Primary School today…I know the feeling. This is an emotional one as my baby is suddenly off to high school.

We organised a fun leaver party for their class, they received many beautiful gifts and I couldn’t let them leave without a little plant.

Their plant included a little note that said:

‘Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey’

(Not my words and thanks to one of the party organisers, Jane for coming across these beautiful words. If you’re the author, please get in touch for credit).

Good luck and much love to everyone today!

I’ve always preferred to be in charge of watering my plants.

I tried self-watering pots many years ago but didn’t quite get on with them.

With the amount of plants I have now and the hot UK weather, I’m spending a bit too much of my time watering my plants.

I’ve come across .co.uk and heard great things so I reached out and asked if I could try their pots in my plants room but also, potentially for client sites.

Once the pot is fully established and working, I’ll only have to water every 6 weeks or so!

Do you use self-watering pots?

I enjoyed turning these cabinets and office into a mini jungle.

Plants in a work space can make such a difference!

All furniture in the office was supplied and installed by - a wonderful family owned business in Bury St Edmunds.

Looking forward to seeing how these lovely plants will grow.

I finally had a bit of time to give the back corner of my plant room a little makeover.

It felt cluttered, messy and filled with things I didn’t really need.

Head to my YouTube channel to watch my last video - to see a before with all the clutter, how I organised my workspace and afterwards with everything tidied!

Now I just need a pretty green chair in my room - any recommendations?
