✨ Why do I need another patch test?
It's probably one of the questions we're asked most often...
"But I've already had laser somewhere else."
We completely understand why people ask—but here's why our answer will always be the same.
A patch test isn't just about checking whether you've had laser before. It's about making sure our equipment, our settings and your skin are the right combination for safe and effective treatment.
Your skin can change over time. Medications, sun exposure, fake tan, hormones and even certain skincare products can all influence how your skin reacts to laser.
Every clinic also uses different equipment and treatment protocols, so we can never assume that what was safe elsewhere will automatically be appropriate here.
At Clear Skin Clinic, we don't cut corners. We carry out a patch test before laser treatments because we'd much rather spend a few extra minutes ensuring everything is right than risk your safety.
It's not about making things difficult—it's about giving you the safest treatment possible.
It’s a “Laser safety assessment” and it’s essential 💛

So impressed with this! We were looking for full clearance of pigmentation and collagen boosting at the same time and so happy with the outcome.
If you have some sun damage or pigmentation that’s bothering you, you don’t need to keep covering it up with make up…

What's That Bump? Episode 1 ❤️
Have you ever noticed a tiny bright red spot on your skin that seems to appear out of nowhere?
It's often a cherry angioma—a very common, benign collection of tiny blood vessels.
They're incredibly common, especially as we get older, and while they're harmless, many people choose to have them removed because they catch, bleed or simply because they don't like how they look.
At Clear Skin Clinic, we carefully assess every lesion before treatment. If there's ever anything I'm concerned about, I'll always recommend seeing your GP before we proceed.
❤️ Have you got a skin concern you've always wondered about? Pop us a message or book a consultation—we're always happy to advise

✨ A Quick Update on Our Treatment Pricing.
As part of our ongoing review following our move, we've updated our treatment pricing.
You'll notice that **some prices have increased, while others have actually decreased**.
Every treatment has been individually reviewed based on the time, expertise, equipment, products and clinical costs involved in delivering the highest standard of care—not simply on what other clinics charge.
These changes help us continue investing in advanced technology, ongoing training, and providing the safe, results-driven treatments and exceptional service that we're proud to offer.
Our new prices will take effect from 01/07/2026.
Thank you, as always, for your continued loyalty and support. We truly appreciate every one of our clients and look forward to welcoming you to the clinic soon. đź’™

Before ➡️ After:
Port Wine Stain Reduction
Port wine stains are vascular birthmarks caused by enlarged blood vessels beneath the skin. While they can be challenging to treat, advanced light-based technologies such as SWT/IPL can help significantly reduce redness and improve overall skin appearance.
This result shows the progress achieved through targeted treatment, helping to break down excess blood vessels while supporting healthier, more even-toned skin.
✨ Every case is unique, and multiple sessions are often required, but improvements like these can make a real difference to confidence and skin quality.
If you've been told there's little that can be done for vascular lesions, modern technology may offer more options than you realise.
Saving my client time every single morning ⏰.

This isn’t skincare—it’s clinical precision!
Xanthelasma removal requires accuracy, depth control, and a structured treatment plan.
Xanthelasma are cholesterol-rich deposits that develop beneath the skin, most commonly around the eyelids. While benign, they can become more prominent over time and are often resistant to topical treatments.
This result demonstrates the outcome following a course of two targeted treatments. Using precise, clinically controlled techniques, the deposits are carefully broken down and removed with minimal disruption to the surrounding tissue. Due to the depth and composition of xanthelasma, multiple sessions are often required to achieve optimal clearance while maintaining skin integrity.
Across the treatment plan, you can see a progressive reduction in the lesions, with the final result showing a significant improvement in both texture and appearance. Healing is managed in a controlled way to support safe skin regeneration and reduce the risk of scarring.
As with all advanced skin procedures, a thorough consultation is essential to assess suitability, discuss expectations, and determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
