💉☕️ This is exactly why we usually recommend avoiding caffeine before injectable treatments if you can. Caffeine can increase heart rate and blood flow, which can make you a bit more likely to bleed or bruise on the day.

So if you’ve ever wondered why we say maybe skip the big coffee before your appointment… this is why 😂. Poor Georgie was a perfect example. That said, it definitely looked worse than it was — I worked with Georgie the very next day and you honestly couldn’t even see where we’d injected.

Other things that can make bleeding/bruising more likely around treatment time:
🍷 alcohol
💊 aspirin / ibuprofen / naproxen
🐟 fish oil / omega-3
🌿 some herbal supplements
🩸 and sometimes certain medications or even where you are in your cycle can make you bleed a little more too. So even if you’ve avoided the list above, don’t panic if it still happens occasionally — it can happen from time to time and is usually nothing to worry about.

A little behind-the-scenes of a skin quality + laxity treatment ✨

The main focus here is working in the subcutaneous tissue to help support the skin and improve overall firmness over time.

We’ve also done a little more superficial work in the area that bothers her most, to target that crepey texture and give the skin a smoother, better-supported look.

This kind of treatment isn’t about changing how you look overnight – it’s about gradually improving:
✨ Skin quality
✨ Laxity
✨ Crepey, thinning texture

The best results come when we treat the skin at the right depth for the right concern – sometimes deeper for support, sometimes more superficially for texture, and often a combination of both.

Another little eye refresh for the brighter days ahead ✨

And this one was on one of my faves 🤍

As the lighter mornings and sunnier days start creeping in, it’s such a nice time to focus on the eye area – helping things look a little brighter, smoother and more awake to match.

Nothing dramatic, nothing “done” – just a gentle little boost for brighter eyes to go with the brighter days ☀️

A little different use of Sunekos today… 💧

This is a short clip of me injecting Sunekos into a healing wound.
Why? Because used correctly, it can help support tissue regeneration and reduce the risk of scarring.

Key thing to know:
✨ Don’t wait until a wound has fully turned into a scar if you’re worried about long-term marks.
✨ It’s often much easier to support healing early on than it is to treat an established scar later.

Not every wound is suitable, and this always needs a proper medical assessment and plan – but in the right cases, Sunekos can be a really helpful tool to support better repair and minimise scarring risk.
