Advanced Botox and fillers and advanced skin treatments

I think I might have a Vinted problem… 🤣📦

I can’t stop scrolling.
I can’t stop buying.
And honestly, the parcels arriving has to be one of the best feelings ever. 😍

It’s basically charity shop shopping, but online.

You get the thrill of finding a bargain, the excitement of waiting for it to arrive, and then the joy of opening a parcel that you’ve probably forgotten you even ordered. 😂

Who else is completely addicted? 🙋‍♀️📦💕

Today I attended the fabulous Art of Balance course with the wonderful Dr Alberto.

Although I am an experienced aesthetics practitioner, I firmly believe that ongoing education is essential. Our industry is constantly evolving, with new techniques, approaches and insights emerging all the time. Every trainer brings their own expertise and perspective, and there is always something new to learn.

I took away so much from this training day and I’m excited to bring these refined techniques back to the clinic. I can’t wait to show you how I’ve been continuing to perfect my skills to achieve the very best results for my patients.

Watch this space… exciting things are coming! ✨

This lovely lady came to me for the first time on Wednesday for her lip filler.

As part of her consultation I explained all possible complications and what to look out for after treatment. She actually said this had never been explained to her before by previous practitioners, which honestly surprised me.

A few hours after leaving she messaged me concerned about the colour of her lips. I asked her to send photos, and although it wasn’t obviously concerning, I wasn’t completely happy. I then asked her to video call me so I could assess further. After that, I still wasn’t 100% reassured, so I asked her to come back into clinic.

On assessment she had very pale lips, slight bruising and they felt cold. These can be signs seen in a vascular occlusion or compromise, so this is something I take very seriously.

The key thing she did not have was a delayed capillary refill. This was a really important clinical sign and reassured me that this was not a vascular occlusion.

So what did I do?

Warm compress
Gentle massage
Close monitoring in clinic
Repeated checks

After around an hour I was happy this was not a vascular occlusion or compromise.

I continued to check in with her later that evening and again the following morning.

I’m happy to say her lips are absolutely fine and she has a beautiful result.

Situations like this are exactly why choosing your practitioner is so important. It’s not just about the treatment itself, it’s about being properly informed, monitored and supported afterwards too.

Your safety will always come first 🤍

This isn’t aesthetics related but I wanted to share something a bit more personal

I’ve struggled with PMDD for years and it honestly used to knock me every single month

Over time I’ve started introducing small changes like reiki, essential oils, deep breathing and cutting down meat. Thank you for my amazing monthly reiki sessions.

Nothing drastic but staying consistent

And I can genuinely say it’s made such a difference to how I feel

Not saying it’s a fix for everyone but it’s helped me massively

Sometimes it’s not about doing more, it’s about doing the right things for your body

If you know, you know 🤍

March dump 🩷

A month of highs, lows, and everything in between. It didn’t start the easiest, but there were still so many moments to be thankful for.

A reminder that life isn’t always as perfect as it looks and that’s okay.

Grateful to be coming out the other side feeling more like me again 🤍
