When was the last time someone just held your head?

Just lifted your head and held it?

Held the weight of the stress from worries, responsibilities and all else we carry through the day.

We don’t realise how much stress impacts the body, but let’s talk about the head.

When we’re stressed, our shoulders naturally tense. That then leads to neck tension, and that leads to the head too — because everything is connected.

So when is the last time someone just held your head to let it feel lighter?

Sounds odd, doesn’t it?

But the power in just that simple act, and how much lighter it makes you feel, is incredible.

This is one of my favourite things to incorporate into my massage — supporting the body, not just targeting tension and pain. Also creating moments where my clients feel lighter because they’re being supported.

Everything is intentional throughout the massage. Not just movements and techniques that look aesthetically pleasing on camera, but every touch has a purpose.
