This is my first increase since 2023, as you are most likely aware, I try my hardest to come up with ways to stop the ever rising costs being passed on to you lovely lot.
The slight increase has been made with both yourselves and my little business in mind, it ensures I can keep providing the level of service you are used to.

You will all know by now how much I love creating new treatments. Always looking for ways to help my clients to fully relax and reset while visiting my treatment room. So here is my newest treatment.....
The Soulstone treatment - 110 minutes of holistic ritual that harmonizes physical, energetic, and emotional well-being through a gentle combination of therapeutic massage, warm basalt stones, and Reiki energy healing
The session is designed to release muscular tension, balance the chakras, and ground you in deep calm while you are cocooned under a weighted blanket on a heated bed (optional).

The treatment will begin with grounding practice and set intentions with essential oils and guided breath work.

Enjoy a serene scalp massage while hot stones are placed over the body at energy points.

Then, you can melt into a full body massage combined with manual techniques and hot stones. Deeply relaxing with the warmth and the rhythmic movements.

Flow into the realigning reiki session.

And to finish with a closing ritual, including smoke cleanse, the opportunity to pick a card from my deck of 'wisdom of the oracle' cards. And hydrate with a glass of reiki blessed, lemon infused chilled water leaving you feeling completely zen.

On the 28th of July, I will have been based within The Retreat Salon for a full year! It has absolutely flown by.....they do say, "Time flies when you are having fun!"

As I am having a few days away at the end of July, I thought I would start my celebrating early!

This past year has been absolutely amazing, mega busy, and I have loved every minute, meeting so many new lovely clients and seeing my loyal regular clients. I really couldn't do it without you all, and I want to say a HUGE thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your custom and support. I feel truly blessed and honoured to have so many clients who trust me to treat them and return time after time. Letting me aid your body to heal and guiding you on a beautiful healing journey, however, that may look.

Are you someone who doesn't like having their hair done? Not everyone finds sitting in the hairdressers chair looking into the mirror a comfortable experience. Here The Retreat Hair and Beauty , we are a warm, welcoming, and friendly team that offers professional service. Our hairdressers Rachael and Charlotte Charlotte Gallagher Hairdressing are excellent at their work and do their best to make everyone comfortable. But the hair salon isn't everyone's favourite place. Being part of the wonderful team, I feel I could help you relax and calm your nerves before you sit in the overwhelming chair. I am a Reiki master and I can offer a reiki session before your hair appointment. Reiki is a none invasive, holistic approach to helping you regain balance on many levels, mentally, physically, and emotionally. For a Reiki treatment, you remain fully clothed. You lie on the heated bed and can be covered with a weighted blanket (or not whichever you prefer). I work by placing my hands firstly on you head and slowly I work my way down your body, from your head, your face to your shoulders, arms, chest, stomach , hips legs and feet. If you prefer, i can work hands off, and the same process can be done by hovering my hands over your body. Reiki is energy work, and it can be very relaxing, reducing stress and releasing tension. It would be a great way to help you navigate what you usually find as an awkward time in the hairdressers chair.
