I don’t share this because I think I’ve got life figured out.
I share it because 2 years ago I was in a very different place mentally and physically.
I used to think feeling anxious, exhausted and overwhelmed all the time was just part of who I was.
Turns out being hungover half the week probably wasn’t helping.
I just started making better choices for myself.
I don’t think I would have had the confidence, energy or mindset to open my own salon if I was still living the way I used to.
Life isn’t perfect. I still have hard days. But I just handle them differently.

This was supposed to be a ramble on stories but comparison feels like one of those things a lot of people deal with.
I don’t envy those growing up with constant comparison on social media now either. Feels heavy enough as an adult.
Maybe the goal isn’t to never compare, just not letting it consume you.
Curious as to what other people think about it 🤍
Hair is attached to confidence for so many people.
Feeling comfortable with your stylist changes the whole appointment.
You stop overthinking. You relax.
You feel able to actually say what you want.
Creating that kind of environment is just as important to me as the hair itself
