If you didn’t know (because there wasn’t banners, badges, head bands, etc.. telling you) it was me birthday yesterday. And I was hoping to let it go unnoticed.
Seems Milly had other ideas.
But I gained vodka, cheese strings and chocolate out of it, so I’d say a winner of a day. And I know you lot had a winner too, over 500 customers in one day, yes ONE day.
Shizzle, if I had confidence issues before, I don’t now.
So, a photoshoot when I got home, and this was the nicest picture, where I didn’t look like I was deep th*****ng a bottle of JJ Whitleys.

Teeny tiny changes make a world of difference.
It’s the difference between being mediocre and being, well, not. The best if you will.

Opening Sundays is doing all that I can for you, my s**t hot customers whom, without you, I wouldn’t be here smashing it out the proverbial park. And it’s now official, because made me a new sticker for the window.

Aside from chatting cars, tanning and basically s**te all day, I also spend alot of my day chatting cream.

Accelerators, Intensifiers, Tingles and Bronzers.
All mint in their own way, but also not every size fits all.
Accelerators are for (but not restricted to) beginners. Absolutely the best cream to get that base tan.
Intensifiers are for those of you who have a bit of colour already but want to deepen it, making the absolute most out of each sunbed session.
Bronzers are instant colour. They will do all that an intensifier will do but will give you instant colour in much the same way as fake tan will. Bear in mind, it will wash off though.
Tingles, now I’ve brushed on these before. I absolutely would rather defecate in my hand and clap, but for the people who love tingle cream, it’s worth the pain. This cream agitates the melanin deep down and is proven to give you a gorgeous colour.

So that’s it, creams in a nutshell.

As a Barber, even as a Trailer Queen, my job role involved a lot of therapy. People speaking to me about their personal problems, not wanting them fixed per se but wanting to share the load. I took it all and let it weigh heavy on me, but that was part of my job and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’ve come to realise that sunbeds are no different. I spend a lot of my days, between attempting to clean beds, walls, the sauna, and everything in between, listening. And I listen good because I’ve had over 25 years experience in listening and carrying people’s burdens.
So yeah, come for a tan, come for a drink, come and trauma dump. I’ll take it all and let you skip away trouble free, a least for a little while until life takes another turd on you from a great height.
