This hairstyle was created in uni, as part of my upcoming module. Braiding makes such a pretty detail in hairstyling💞

Here is my client that I took with me in the class today. She had a blue black tint, which is the deepest colour. A large shield used because she has long lashes 💞

Hiya all!

It's been a while since I've posted on this page. Having time off over Christmas and the New Year was particularly important to me and my family this year.

I've started an extra course this year, eyelash lifting and tinting, which can be offered later on in the year when I've qualified. Following this, I will be completing a level three qualification in eyelash extensions and can be another service I can offer later on this year.

Here's a hairstyle I've created for the project I'm working on at the moment in university. A roller set was completed on the hair and then it has been created into early 20th century hairstyle.

There have been a few occasions I have worked with University of South Wales to create special effects work for the medical students.

The first two images are of a pre-made (not by me) gelatine broken tibia and fibia that was coloured and applied by me.

The last image is some bruising created to give the illusion of a potential sprained/fractured wrist.

Easter 2022, I signed up for an It's My Shout production. I can honestly say it was a great introduction to industry life when working on this film. It was amazing to see how quickly hair and make-ups have to be completed and working long hours to make sure everything is kept within a strict timeframe.

It is great to go onto set and watch how the other teams within the production work, and how everything blends together. The team of make-up artists were truly amazing, with all of us coming from different backgrounds and working together to ensure multiple actors could be completed within a short time.

I have worked on various other productions since, but this is a great start point for anyone wanting to work within the film and TV industry 🫶🏻

L O R D O F T H E R I N G S

This was a project from earlier this year. For this, a dwarf character had to be designed from Lord Of The Rings.

For this, eyebrows were created using Yak hair, which took hours to make.

A half head wig was also applied to give extra length to the hair.

Ageing effects and dirtying down effects were also used to complete the look!

Here is the photoshoot outcome of a Upper Class Victorian Lady from a project last year.

A very subtle natural make-up, which has been created using historically accurate reference images.

Hair was created using model's natural hair and an added hair piece for length 💇‍♀️

I recently completed a one fading course with Thomas Lloyd Barbering Academy.
It was a great course, focused on skin fading.
