Before I disappear on maternity leave, I wanted to share a few photos from such a special shoot.

Behind XtraStrands is not just a hairdresser it’s me, a mum, a business owner, and now a very excited mama-to-be again. 🥹
I’ve poured so much of myself into my little business over the years, and I’m so grateful to every single client who has supported me along the way.

These photos will be memories I treasure forever especially knowing that one day I’ll look back at them at 80 and remember exactly how this chapter felt. 🤎

We refreshed the colour with a gorgeous new toner, then added 150g of fresh tape extensions to fill out the finer ends and give this hair that extra length and thickness ✨

A little refresh can make such a difference!

✨ Pixie to polished… without waiting months! ✨

My client was unhappy with her pixie cut and wanted to create the illusion of more length while she grows it out — but waiting for it to grow naturally would take far too long! 🤎

Using just 1 pack of extensions + a little hairdressing magic, I was able to add fullness and length through the sides, then cut and blend everything seamlessly into her natural hair.

This is where extensions + proper cutting skills make all the difference. 👏🏼

A temporary solution while she grows her own hair, but one that makes her feel so much more confident in the meantime. ✨
