Dance4Ever

Our lovely Kim joined Dance4Ever two years ago simply because she loves to dance. And along the way, with steady classes, healthy habits, and a supportive community, she's lost three and a half stone and kept it off. Here's her journey.

From Kim:
" I joined Dance4Ever in March 2024 because my friend Bridget asked me to go with her but also because I just love to dance. Although Zumba Gold is probably designed for more mature students, I love the fact that the steps are easy to follow and you have the choice of doing high impact or low and you dance to your ability. If you make a mistake, so what, you just pick it up and carry on. I also do Fitsteps FAB with Dance4Ever as well as ballroom / latin dance and play badminton.
As well as fitness activities, I also felt I needed to loose some weight and so I joined Slimming World in June 2025. With a combination of diet and fitness, I have so far lost just over 3 and a half stone. I feel fitter and better than I did before, I feel as though I have more energy and am much happier in myself. I love the Dance4Ever classes because they are easy to follow with great music and a fantastic group of ladies.
So if you love dancing, then why not give Zumba Gold or Fitsteps FAB a try. You're never too old to start.
Also, the instructor is fantastic, very loud, very bubbly and very energentic. I always look forward to my next class."

Spent a lovely early afternoon at The Ivy in Guildford after Zumba Gold class last Wednesday, wrapped up a delicious lunch with a bright, refreshing cocktail. The place looks stunning—elegant decor, big floral displays, and such a relaxed vibe. Perfect spot to chillax after lunch.

Last week I treated myself to lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, The Ivy in Guildford. The balcony view was absolutely stunning and the food was amazing as always.Grateful for afternoons that feel like this.

Important information for NEW Dance4ever participants.
If you're planning to attend a Dance4ever class for the first time, please contact the instructor before booking any class. You'll find the instructor's phone number and email at the top of this page.
Before your first class, you must request and complete a PAR-Q form, which stands for Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. This is a simple health screening that's essential for your health and safety and required by my insurance. You must not book a class until you've requested the PAR-Q, completed and returned it, and received confirmation from the instructor that your form has been checked.
If you book without an approved PAR-Q, your payment will be refunded and you won't be able to take part in the class, even if you turn up. Repeated bookings without following this process may result in your account being blocked to prevent further incorrect bookings.
