We would like to say a huge thank you to Mick Dando, who created this absolutely amazing model of Littleton Colliery and kindly allowed us to display it here at Littleton Lodge over the years.

So much time, hard work and dedication went into creating this fantastic model, and it has been wonderful to have such a special piece of local history on display for our residents, families, staff and visitors to enjoy. 🏭⛏️

It has certainly been a talking point over the years, bringing back memories and stories of Littleton Colliery and the important part it played in our local community. ❤️

We are very sad to see the model go, but we are incredibly grateful to Mick for allowing us to have it here and for sharing his amazing work with us for so many years.

We all know how important our mental health is, and it’s wonderful to see local organisations coming together to support our community.

Burton & District Mind, in conjunction with Chasetown Football Club, are offering a FREE Walk & Talk Football project. ⚽️💙

Starting Thursday 1st October, the 8-week programme combines casual football, conversation and the opportunity to meet others in a friendly and relaxed environment.

It’s open to all skill levels because sometimes a little exercise, a friendly face and a good chat can make all the difference. 💙

We’ve had another fantastic session of fun and games with Chris from Chase Town Football Club! 🥳

Chris visits us regularly here at Littleton Lodge, so he knows our residents really well and, more importantly, he knows exactly what they enjoy! ❤️

There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition and lots of smiles as everyone got involved. It’s always lovely to see our residents having such a great time and enjoying Chris’s visits. 😊👏

🚤☀️ What an absolutely fabulous day we had on our narrowboat trip at Calf Heath Marina on Tuesday! 💕

We were so lucky with the beautiful weather, making it the perfect day to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as we cruised along the canal. 🌿🌸

And of course, no trip would be complete without a delicious portion of fish and chips! 🐟🍟😋

Lots of smiles, laughter and wonderful memories made by everyone. It really was a fantastic day out! ❤️

🃏There’s nothing quite like a good old game of cards!🃏

We all enjoyed a lovely afternoon getting together for a few games, plenty of laughs and, of course, a little bit of friendly competition! 😄

Card games are not only great fun, but they’re also a wonderful way to keep our minds active, encourage conversation and enjoy time together. 🧠

What a fantastic evening at Littleton Lodge!

Our Oktoberfest was such a brilliant night, with everyone getting into the spirit and having a wonderful time! 💃🕺

There was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter and lots of smiles throughout the evening. It was lovely to see our residents, staff and everyone joining in and enjoying themselves together.

Our baking group has been busy in the Tea room creating some delicious cherry and apricot turnovers! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

There was plenty of mixing, filling, folding and, of course, a little taste testing along the way! 😋❤️

They looked absolutely delicious and made the whole home smell amazing! 🥰

Well done to our fantastic bakers, another successful baking session at Littleton Lodge! 🏡💕
