To all of my clients new and existing, please click save and refer to this post if and when you need too 😊, below are the essentials to ensure you are safely prepared for your appointment ☺️.

▫️Ensure the area is completely clean shaven prior to your treatment.

▫️Stop use of any creams and lotions 24 hours before your appointment.

▫️Avoid excessive sun exposure to any treatment areas.

▫️Avoid wearing any fake tan products prior to your appointment, if a regular user please ensure the treatment areas are completely clear of any tan residue.

▫️Avoid any active skin care ingredients (salicylic acid, retinol, glycolic acid, Benzyl peroxide) to the treatment area 3 days prior to your treatment.

▫️Stop all alternative hair removal methods such as plucking, waxing, epilating etc, only shaving is permitted.

▫️Avoid wearing any tight clothing to your appointment.

▫️Update myself on any medication changes prior to your appointment.

▫️Avoid any deodorant or perfumed products 24 hours before your treatment.

▫️Avoid any excessive exercise for 2 hours prior to your appointment.

▫️Breathe, smile 😊 and feel excited that you’re on your way to healthy, hair free skin.

Laser season is upon us, but why is autumn/winter the best time to start laser hair removal?

To welcome you all into the new season ☺️ I’ve outlined some key points to highlight why the autumn and winter months are the best time to begin your Laser hair removal treatments.

▫️Less sun exposure

For safe and optimal results, it’s vital to ensure your skin has had no excessive sun exposure throughout your course. Depending on your skin type, you will have to wait 2, 4 or 6 weeks before you can begin or resume treatment. Disrupting the course can interfere with the efficacy of your results, meaning further treatment may be required to reach your desired outcome.

▫️Recognition of treatment progression

Let’s be honest, the majority of us non-lasered ladies take full advantage of the winter months to let nature take its course and let that leg hair grow free! Less shaving means you will be better equipped to recognise your response to treatment. Allowing your hair to grow out in-between sessions means it will be easier to notice the delay in re-growth, hair thinning, patchy regrowth and areas where follicles have been diminished. In the Summer months, we are constantly removing the hair which can sometimes make your progress less obvious in the early stages of your course.

▫️You’ll have a significant reduction in time for Summer!

How many sessions will I need?

This is one of the most commonly asked questions asked at consultation which I feel needs more transparency in the industry.

Its important to know that the recommended amount of sessions per course are a ‘base line’ it will vary from person to person depending on the own unique way your body stimulates hair growth… Some will need more sessions and others may need less ☺️.

Our goal is to ensure every clients outcomes are managed effectively, like most things in life clear communication is key.

If you suffer from an underlying condition such as PCOS, or like me you’ve been gifted with stubborn coarse hair 🙄 then just be aware you may need additional sessions after your course.

If you’ve bought a course in full then you’re entitled to a free session plus a 15% discount on any additional sessions.
