Dreadlocks like to go and grow their own way. Thats why palm-rolling is so important, especially in the early days whilst your locs are still maturing.
How often do you pal-roll yours?

Spent the last couple of days creating a half head of dreadlocks for who finally took the plunge after years of thinking about it.
Dreads shrink the length of your hair when they are initially created, so we added some real hair dreadlock extensions to create weight and help them mature.
Beautiful mermaid dreads!
We’re considering adding some plaits in for the ultimate mermaid look.
This is my girl Mel. Mel has been a fan of temporary, synthetic dreads for years, and then she found me. We’ve ditched the in-out synthetic colours for real dreadlocks and added real hair extensions.

Jed came back to me for a maintenance treatment last week. It’s his 3rd visit to me. Prior to that he’d never let a single soul touch his dreads since they were installed all those years ago! Thank you for your trust Jed. 🙏🏻

Really pleased with this rework for my girl today.
We want to preserve her dreads as much as possible.
Some were so sort due to snappage (if that’s even a word!?) so we added few extensions to the littlest ones.
The we added another row of new dreads to the crown.
The next session will involve a complete maintenance of the roots and dreadlocking the remaining hair to create a full head.
So cool!
