Out of interest which cream is your favourite and why? 🤗

I hated school..with a passion. I had panic attacks when I’d walk into school. I struggled with concentration. I was so shy, and found it difficult to make friends. The lighting in the classrooms gave me headaches. I didn’t really fit in. And I found it really difficult to learn. I often used to bunk off school, not take lessons seriously, and was seen as a bit naughty. As time went on I found my people. People I’m still friends with today. But I ended up leaving school with no GCSEs and was pregnant not long after. I don’t believe the education system failed me. I just wasn’t able to thrive in that setting. I believed that I wasn’t clever, so I didn’t really try. And cause I was so quiet I often went unnoticed. I thought I had no chance of succeeding in life. My brothers were so clever, and did so well at school. What was wrong with me?

My dad was a dr of science, my whole family were all so intellectual. Where were my clever genes? Did my brothers take them all? 😆

I lived in my council flat as a single mum, and worked part time for my parents IT company. I had no idea what talents I had or even if I had any at all. The moment I discovered my ‘thing’..the thing that ignited a fire within me, there was no stopping me. I made creams and experimented day and night. I dreamt about creams. I was constantly coming up with ideas. And it wasn’t even for business..just simply something I was having fun with. And the rest..as they say is history.

There are many people I know who thrive in school, college or uni. But I spent so long believing I was a failure. Everyone has their ‘thing’..whatever it is that lights you up…go down that path. That’s what is meant for you. The sooner you do, the better 💛

Truth be told, I’ve had a difficult time since my brain surgery in February. The business took a hit, and we are slowly trying to rebuild. I’m grateful to all my customers who support me while I rebuild and repair. Sadly this has started with our rewards program. Please understand this wasn’t an easy decision, but the health of the company was at risk 💛

I have rosacea and this year it got progressively worse. I tried laser treatment but this did nothing and looking as I did was really affecting my self confidence as people would often stare at me.

Devon Harrison: I had a massive flare up of eczema a few weeks ago, so I ordered a couple of small pots to try, Charcoal and Oat and the Green Cream. I’ve been using the Charcoal and Oat daily, morning and evening until the inflammation had gone down then swapped to just night time with the Green Cream in the morning and my skin has been SO much better, nowhere near as dry either. I had ordered Coffee and Clay scrub too and that made a massive difference to dry flaky patches 💛
