▪️We’ve taken the decision to introduce a £10 consultation fee for all new consultation appointments.

▪️This fee is fully redeemable against your service if you decide to go ahead with us, and will be deducted from your final appointment cost.

▪️Consultations are important for both sides; they give us time to properly understand your hair goals and give you clarity on timing, pricing, and what to realistically expect from your appointment. This helps ensure we’re all on the same page before we begin.

▪️Our stylists dedicate time during these consultations to offer tailored advice, colour planning and professional guidance. As this time is fully reserved for you, they are unable to take on other appointments during that slot.

▪️This small change helps us protect our team’s time while continuing to give every client the care, attention and results we’re known for 🤍

▪️May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in our industry, it matters more than people probably realise.

▪️Hairdressers spend their days looking after everyone else, listening, staying switched on, and helping people feel good about themselves, often while putting their own wellbeing to one side.

▪️The salon can be an amazing place to work, but it can also be physically tiring and emotionally draining at times.

▪️We also understand that for some clients, visiting a salon can feel overwhelming or anxiety-inducing. If you’d prefer a quieter appointment, less small talk, or simply a calm space to switch off for a while, just let us know.

▪️A couple of weeks ago, we had a photo shoot at the salon with 🙌 We’ve already shared a few of the shots. But this one made us smile.

▪️A guy crossing the road, completely unaware, just going about his day while we were (trying) to go about ours, unintentionally stealing the shot without even knowing it ;)

▪️It’s a small moment, but it says a lot. The high street only works because of that constant flow of people, businesses, and routines, all overlapping. We rely on each other more than we realise.

▪️And a high street salon plays its part in that, creating jobs, developing skills, and offering opportunities for people to build careers, all while giving clients a place to return to, catch up, take time out, and feel looked after.

▪️That’s what we love about it. It’s not just where we work, it’s something we’re part of.

▪️Bank holiday may be over, but we are holding on to the good vibes! (We even saw the sun a few times in Wales!)
