Hello, I'm Lizzie Connors the owner of Always Unique!

Always Unique is a mobile hairdressing business which specialises in working with people with additional needs and/or disabilities. I have extensive experience of working with children and young people with additional learning needs and/or disabilities and I am a qualified hairdresser.

The idea for Always Unique started when I met a child whose mother had always cut her hair because she did not feel comfortable going into a salon. Her experiences were extremely negative and hearing her story made me think ‘I could do it, I could be her hairdresser, I can make her feel pretty and unique!'. And that's where my story begins.
