Had the most amazing thing happen to me last week in the salon , was unsure if I should share it as I was thinking of the lovely lady & her husband I didn’t know if I should share this story , but speaking to a few people they said it would be nice! As people most people know I work alone & my salon is a 1-2-1 service which works well, I had a couple walking past a few times and the husband kept looking in ALOT 😳. After seeing them a few times he came in and asked me if I always work alone , a bit suspicious I said yes , he then asked me if I would mind cutting his wife’s hair as she has Alzheimer’s and can be unpredictable at times , so of course I said yes I was more than happy to do it, so she became regular 6wk client, and I made her hair easy for him to do talked him through it and made her natural curls lift , and he was very grateful, win win , she was never a problem and it was a pleasure, I hadn’t seen them for a while but do remember that he cancelled a appointment as she wasn’t very well , thought no more of it . Skip forward to last week, I was doing a client’s highlights door open BOILING 🥵! And he came in & said sorry for interrupting, but I wanted to come in and thank you so much for everything you did for my wife it meant a lot to me & I know her sadly she passed away from Alzheimer’s last week !!! Then he choked up 😢 I went over to him took his hand & hugged him, credit to you sir you looked after her amazingly 😢😩. Myself and my client were both choked up , how lovely is that for him to come in and thank me for looking after her, every time I think about it I get goosebumps.😢😢😢❤️💔
