Grey blending with highs and lows
It’s been six months since I did this particular service with one toning appointment in between, the goal is to be blended with minimum colour but not to look super white or grey so we go for a more of a beige blonde.
Low lights on areas that are super white to add depth and dimension that gives a thicker feel for my Client.
Grey blending doesn’t mean no maintenance it means low maintenance.

Grey blending on curly hair
The plan was to introduce shimmer lights and tone all the previous colour back down as close as the natural as possible
When you are going grey it’s not always better to go lighter globally as you can see from the before picture. The percentage of grey in this Client‘s hair was very minimal.

The initial appointment was a colour correction my Client wanted a grey blonde/blend service and was left with a global warm tint
since then we have just been at maintaining at her last maintenance visit I advised my Client to decide what she wanted with her next appointment as it would be a full head.
Sometimes my clients get nervous of telling me that their goals have changed, but I am just as happy doing a grey blonde than I am doing a balayage
