The chairs have been busy, the clippers have been working overtime, and our students have been putting their skills into practice on live models. 🙌
From fades and scissor work to finishing touches, it’s been a brilliant day of hands-on learning, hard work and plenty of progress.
There’s nothing better than seeing our students grow in confidence and technique with every haircut. 👏
As this week comes to a close at Thomas Lloyd Barbering Academy, our students are entering their final week before becoming fully qualified barbers.
Hours of practice. Countless haircuts. New skills. Growing confidence. Lifelong friendships.
They’ve pushed themselves every single day, and now they’re just one week away from turning their passion into a profession.

January 2025 - Student Spotlight: Seb
Seb set his sights on a career in barbering and travelled from Hong Kong to our attend our highly sought after 9 week NVQ level 2 barbering course.
Seb was a complete novice, and had never picked up a pair of scissors, but over the 9 weeks his confidence, skills and experience grew rapidly, developing in to a competent barber upon completion of the course.
After gaining his qualification, Seb recently returned to Hong Kong and has now landed a job with a renowned barbershop in the city.
