✖️Harsh preservatives (methylchloroisothiazolinone...it’s linked to nerve damage and contact dermatitis)⁣

✖️Parabens (another preservative)⁣
⠀⁣
✖️Sulfates (cleansing agent that creates the suds...very drying on hair)⁣
⠀⁣
✖️Silicones (ingredients ending in “-icone” are a synthetic rubber/plastic material that gives shine. Shine that’s fake, temporary, and suffocates your hair. It also melts when exposed to high heat, like straighteners, so it definitely shouldn’t be in your heat protector!!)⁣

✖️Salt (sodium chloride makes products thicker in consistency, but dries your hair & scalp and creates itchiness)⁣
