Last week, i was watching an episode of Tonight's Conversation, on youtube, and it got me all in my feelings. Mostly, hurt and anger. Hurt, for the poor young lady, asking the question. And anger, for all the years, i too, put up with men's foolishness.

On the episode, this beautiful young lady, both in looks and spirit, came to the mic. I can / remember, what her exact question was. But she was basically saying, that her partner kept cheating on her; and what could she do, to improve herself, to stop him cheating. And stop him, from being derogatory about her.

There's a lot, i could say on this. But with a word limit, I'll keep it to two points. Firstly, the only thing that will keep a man from cheating, is himself. We've all seen women they've chosen, to have affairs with. Even stay with afterwards. I used to look in disbelief. Some women friend' partners cheated with, neither had good faces, or good hearts. Why did they choose them? I believe, for three reasons. Number one, they knew their wife/partner, would allow them to stay; just so they didn't lose them. Number two, because men go for women, who are easy. Which i get, we all want a peaceful life. But an emotionally intelligent, grown woman, will call out any foolishness; and cause them, to live to a higher standard. Not every man, is willing to do the work necessary, to be a great husband and Father. So they go where's easiest. And Number three, just like you, they choose women, on their current level. So if a man is unhealed, struggling in life, etc. He, like us, will be attracted to someone similar. Because that dysfunction, feel comfortable to them.

And lastly, my second point. Never let a man, or anyone, dictate your value. We all have self-esteem issues, to work through. But if yours are still at a level, where you'll accept less than your worth.... please do not, entertain a relationship. A partner is an equal. Not to be displayed, on a pedestal. A good man will pursue you, with intention and clarity. He will see your value, and treat you accordingly. Please do not accept less than this. And if you are, then make loving yourself again, your number one priority. 💗
