📣 EVENT TEAM NEEDED 📣

We’re looking for a team of our Sports Massage Therapy graduates to support the Mackyard Backyard Ultra in Buttermere on Saturday 5th September 🏃🏽‍♂️🏔️

We’re particularly keen to hear from those who have also completed our Sports Taping CPD, as there may be opportunities to utilise these skills throughout the event.

Supporting events like this is about so much more than providing treatment...
✔️ Network with runners, coaches and fellow therapists
✔️ Get your face (and your business) out there
✔️ Build confidence working in a real sporting environment
✔️ Develop your assessment, treatment and communication skills

This isn’t just a one-off event either. We’re continuing to grow our event team and already have more opportunities in the pipeline, giving you the chance to gain experience across a variety of sporting events 🤲🏼

Another brilliant weekend in clinic with our Level 4 Sports Massage learners 🫶🏼

This weekend built directly on the knowledge developed during Weekend 1, revisiting the joints of the lower body, before progressing on to shoulder and elbow applied anatomy…think bony landmarks, muscle origins and insertions, tendon and ligament attachments, and more.
Learners then carried out thorough assessments and used their clinical reasoning to justify treatment selections…the L4 is very much about developing this element of practice to confidently assess injuries and think beyond a routine massage 🤲🏼

Of course, there was plenty of hands-on treatment too, with learners developing their advanced sports massage skills…trigger point therapy, myofascial release and muscle energy techniques.

If you’ve completed your Level 3 and are ready to take your assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills to the next level, the Level 4 SMT is for you 🚀
