For all my BIAB Girlies…

I wanted to keep everyone in the loop with what’s going on in the Nail Industry at the moment with The Gel Bottle, as I know it’s all over social media and I don’t want anyone to worry. They have recently updated the formula of their BIAB and have removed TPO and HEMA from the products. Whilst this can be a positive change for some people as it lowers the risk of allergies and reactions, it can also affect the performance of the product especially when it comes to retention.

Not all of The Gel Bottle BIAB shades have been affected by this change, some still have the original formula. These changes also won’t effect everyone, and some clients won’t be effected at all so will still have good retention. Luckily I still have stock of a lot of the original BIAB range, so the majority of the sets of nails I do will be absolutely fine. The only change that may have to be made will be a slight change in the range of colours I use to stick to the original formula. In the meantime I will also be trialling a couple different BIAB brands just incase.

I am kindly asking any clients that experience any changes in their nails to please make me aware of this by giving me feedback on how your biab is lasting. This will allow me to make the right decisions so my nail procedure can still be the best possible for myself and all my clients.🩷
