A few Korean lash lift snippets before a very big weekend. 🤍

Next weekend, I’ll be showcasing .uk products at the .presents event, and if I’m honest… I’m equal parts excited and absolutely terrified.

From the outside, it probably looks like confidence. But behind the scenes, there’s a lot of self-doubt. The little voice wondering whether I’m good enough, whether people will expect more, whether I’ll live up to the incredible educators sharing the stage.

I think no matter how long you’ve been in this industry, imposter syndrome has a way of creeping in when something really matters to you.

But I’m reminding myself that I wasn’t invited to be someone else. I was invited to be me. To share the techniques, knowledge and experiences that have helped shape my own journey in Korean lash lifting.

So whilst I’m feeling sick with nerves, I’m also incredibly grateful for the opportunity. And if there’s one thing I know for certain, it’s that I’ll be showing up exactly as I am and giving it everything I’ve got.

One thing I always recommend to brides is brow lamination. Not because every bride needs super fluffy brows, but because it creates the perfect base for soft, polished bridal makeup that actually lasts throughout the day.

Your brows stay looking fresher for longer, tint grabs more evenly onto the hairs, and it makes styling them on the wedding morning so much easier for your makeup artist.

I also think laminated brows photograph SO beautifully. They add structure and definition to the face without looking heavy, which is exactly what you want when your photos are going to last forever ✨

Over processed lashes are not impossible to work with, but they DO need a completely different approach.

In this case the lashes were:
- curling back inwards
- hitting the brow bone
- feeling dry and coarse
- lacking structure and direction

This is why understanding shield choice and tension matters so much in Korean lash lifting. You can’t just force damaged lashes onto an aggressive shield and hope for the best 🫠

To correct this safely I focused on:
✨ reducing timings
✨ choosing a more forgiving shield
✨ keeping tension controlled
✨ nourishing the lashes

The goal wasn’t to create the most dramatic lift possible… it was to restore balance while protecting the health of the lashes at the same time 🤍

And THIS is why I always say Korean lash lifts are not just about making lashes lifted or curly. It’s about understanding the lashes in front of you and adapting your technique accordingly.
