There seems to be have been lots of posts recently looking for a new hairdresser so I thought I'd reintroduce myself
✨ THE FACE BEHIND THE BUSINESS ✨
Hey everyone,
I’m Shell — mum to my gorgeous little boy Theo and wife to Steve.
I’ve been hairdressing for 21 years now (I know… I’m basically ancient 🙈). I started my career in Carlisle all those years ago, and what a journey it’s been since! I’ve had the joy of working in salons across Newcastle, Australia, Lytham, Preston — and now I’ve come full circle, returning home with my little family.
After many years of being employed, I took the leap in 2020 and became self-employed, creating HAIR BY SHELL – FREELANCE STYLIST. Going freelance gave me the freedom to balance mum life while still doing the job I truly love.
I enjoy every aspect of hairdressing, but lived in colour and big, bold transformations that make you glow inside and out is where my passion lies.
I’m based at the beautiful Ruby Jules Salon in Carlisle city centre. I can’t wait to create more gorgeous hair and meet lots of new faces.
