This is me 27 years ago 😱 — white dress tunic, pink piping, pink buttons… and, although you can’t see them, white clogs to match. 💗
Back when beauty training was STRICT.
We’d line up in the morning to have our fingernails inspected for cleanliness, uniforms checked to make sure they were properly ironed, hair neat, shoes clean… and you absolutely did not turn up looking scruffy. 😂
There was such a huge emphasis on professionalism, presentation, hygiene and doing things properly.
27 years later, the uniform may have changed (thankfully 😂), the industry has changed beyond recognition, and treatments have become infinitely more advanced… but I still think some of those old-school standards have stood me in pretty good stead.
Any other OG beauty therapists remember the morning inspection? And PLEASE tell me someone else had the clogs?! 😂👇🏼

🔴 What actually are blood spots?
Blood spots, also known as cherry angiomas, are small collections of dilated blood vessels that sit close to the surface of the skin. They can appear anywhere on the body and tend to become more common as we get older.
They’re usually completely harmless, but if you don’t like the way they look, they can often be treated quickly using advanced electrolysis.
A very fine probe delivers a controlled electrical current to the area, cauterising the tiny blood vessels. The spot will usually darken or form a tiny crust afterwards before gradually healing.
