When we use dermal filler to target deeper lines such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines, most clients see a significant improvement straight away, often after just one treatment.

For this lovely client, we treated her nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and enhanced her lips for a softer, shaped and more refreshed appearance. 💉✨

So why don’t some wrinkles disappear completely in one session?

The simple answer is that some lines have been folded into the skin for many years. As we age, repeated facial movements, collagen loss, volume loss, and skin laxity can cause these creases to become deeply etched into the tissue. While filler can replace lost support and lift the area, the skin itself sometimes needs time to remodel and adapt to its new foundation.
This means that although the line is often improved immediately, particularly stubborn wrinkles may continue to soften as the filler settles and the tissues adjust over the following weeks.
Occasionally, a second treatment is needed to achieve the best result, especially when lines are very deep or long-standing.

Each step is tailored, and we’ll always follow up if those deeper lines need a bit more love. 🤍
