Believe it or not, this situation feels like a setup meant to damage my business. I’m here for one reason only: to do my job properly and honestly. I’ve never tried to take business from anyone else.

This morning, a council officer came to my shop, checked everything, and even tested my clippers. After a full inspection, she told me clearly that she couldn’t prove any wrongdoing because everything in my shop is in order. There is nothing wrong here.

I honestly don’t understand what I’ve done to deserve this. It’s not fair to believe everything you see on social media. Anyone who has been to my shop knows how I work and the standards I keep.

I’m not doing this job for money. There are other jobs I could do where I’d earn more, but I chose this because I love it. Ever since I was young, I wanted to be a professional barber. This is my passion, and I take pride in what I do.

What people think of me doesn’t change that. I know who I am and why I’m here.

I’ve also had issues outside of work—my car has been damaged more than once in the parking lot. Sometimes I avoid parking there because of that. Some people might think I’m showing off, but that’s not who I am. I’m simply grateful for what I have and for the work I do.

All I ask is fairness and truth.
