Wendy had previously had microblading twice before but it didn’t deliver the effect that she was looking for and always found herself pencilling them in. She didn’t want to keep pencilling them in daily and found she struggled with achieving symmetry.

When she showed me how she liked to have them (3rd pic) it was obvious to me that it was powder brows that she was actually looking for.

She wanted quite a bold, dark look without too much fluffiness at the front, she wanted a more solid look. It’s my job to modify the process to ensure that the customer receives their desired look.

As you can see from the last picture she was really pleased with the result.

In 6 weeks time she will return for a top up where we can tweak anything if required.

I actually trained in PMU in December 2024 but over the last 18 months it’s not something that I have been particularly proud to promote 😢

I have always been a bit of a perfectionist and really struggled with not being as good at it as I wanted to be and not been as good as others despite them having so much more experience than me. Due to being underwhelmed with results I stopped promoting it and fell out of love with it for a while!!!

However, a wise lady told me practice, practice and practice and that is exactly what I have done, as well as researching different brands for blades and cartridges that I was comfortable with.
