The kids are officially back to school, September has arrived and apparently we’re all supposed to start acting like summer is over…

**Absolutely not.** 😂

Although I am simultaneously willing autumn to hurry up and show its face because apparently I can be emotionally attached to both margaritas and knitwear. 🍹🍂😂

Summer doesn’t *officially* end until the 21st September and until then, I’m still holding my margarita.

HOWEVER… waiting until then to open the rest of the salon diary would result in absolute appointment-book chaos. And nobody needs that.

So, without further ado…

Hair rarely starts as one even canvas. You’ve got old highlights washing through, naturally lighter areas, sun-bleached ends, deeper sections, different levels of porosity… and all of that should influence where and how we apply your colour.

For this gorgeous brunette, we worked with what the hair was already doing naturally. Deepening where it needed richness, allowing some of those softer lighter pieces to remain, and using creative placement to bring everything together rather than covering it all up.

And the best bit?

This entire result was created with just one bowl of Farmavita Life Color 4.77. 🤎

No complicated cocktail of formulas. Just one beautifully chosen shade, placed differently throughout the hair depending on what each area actually needed.

Because bespoke colour isn’t always about using more colour.

Sometimes, it’s knowing where to put it… and where not to.

🔥 **Copper was absolutely the right decision.**

From a softer, faded brunette to this rich, glossy, dimensional copper… and then letting those natural curls do their thing. 🤎🧡

The goal wasn’t just to make it *red*. We wanted warmth, depth and different tones running through the hair so the colour still had movement rather than feeling flat.

And honestly, curly hair just shows colour off differently. Every bend catches another little flash of copper. ✨
