Walk in's:
As we are hopefully getting back to normal we are finding many of you want appointments to continue as well as walk in's. As you can imagine this can sometimes cause problems if you walk in the same time someone is booked in! We are trying to find a system that works for all and will always endeavour to fit everyone in.

NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS

From Monday 29th November, we will require all customers to wear a mask on entry and for the whole duration of their visit.

If you require a mask we can provide one before you enter the shop. Please just make us aware at the entrance.

After much consideration, along with many other businesses, we have decided to continue wearing masks for the foreseeable.

As you may appreciate, our line of work involves close contact with people. We therefore wish to be as cautious as possible for not only ourselves but our clients too.

While cases are high, we would also be most grateful if our clients could consider wearing masks too.

We hope you understand how difficult a decision this is for us as we certainly do not wish to upset anyone. However, we have to consider the future of our shop and clients.

Please be assured we will look to review and change this as soon as we believe it is safe to do so.

GLASTONBURY SHOP UPDATE

In 2008 I opened the doors to XY Barbers in Glastonbury. Now 13 years later the time has come for me to say goodbye.
From today the shop will have new owners.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the years and to all the barbers who have worked with me in this time.
I would like to welcome Jerry who is moving up from his Barbershop on Benedict Street. Along with Sian (who is staying) and Connor I know the shop will be in good hands.
As for myself I have decided that after 36 years of cutting hair the time has come to hang up my scissors and move on to new things.

PLEASE NOTE: This DOES NOT affect our Castle Cary shop which all stays the same.

Now that we are quieter we can now sometimes offer appointments on the day.
The options are:

Turn up to the shop of your choice and we will cut your hair straight away if we have a free slot. If we do not have an available appointment immediately then we can make an appointment for you later in the day, usually within the hour.
