Hello, I’ll let you into a small history on how this business came about. Back in my hay-day I raced motorcycles all over the UK competitively, with multiple Irish championships to my name, with many more prestigious awards that were presented over my career. A great time was had during all these years, before my luck, or fortune started to turn. Unfortunately I had a bad run for a couple of years

and a few accidents really put me on the back foot. In 2016 with my first attempt at the North West 200 my brakes failed after a small knock to the front end entering one of the permanent roundabouts, I broke 7 ribs, punctured my right lung, broke my pelvis and broke my heel and ankle. I got back to racing competitively and winning races when I went back to race in England in 2016. 2017 unfortunately did not start how I would have liked when my first race with a new team I smashed my wrist and needed beautiful titanium to put it back together. Later that season I had a coming together with another rider and really smashed myself up. I broke my right femur, tore my acl and pcl ligaments in my left knee, damaged my peroneal nerve, (paralysed foot) tore my lcl and pcl in my right knee and smashed my thumb which once again all needed titanium. I put myself through it all again whenever i came back to race in 2019 but best of all we came back to win. I suppose what triggered this all was in 2021 my brakes failed once again and I crashed once more and I broke my tibia and fibula and was in cast they also found 3 broken vertebrae in my spine that I never realised I had, which occurred in 2017. I have suffered with a serious sore back that twisting my torso from side to side takes the very breath from me. I knew that a change of career was overdue because of the line of work I’m in. I believe in the saying "everything happens for a reason" and as a joiner my pains, I couldn't deal with the cold, heavy work and always having an interest in the body from being in so many hospitals seeing so many therapists I thought I would look into the sports therapy area, and hey-ho Improvise physical therapy was born. Here at IPT we are not physio therapists but we perform massage find where pains are and also offer dry needling, kinesio-taping, instrument assisted soft tissue massage and cupping. Everything we do has been courses that we have studied for and sat exams and everything we do is something that has been battled by myself. Thank you!

Hello folks. As of tomorrow I will be closed for a week as we are jetting off to Bulgaria for a little break.

As most of you know back when I broke my leg in 2021 I decided that a change of career was needed. It has been awesome but I do still really miss my joinery work.

I changed career because of injury, fitness, pain and limitations.

In may I received my hip operation and I have been so much better since! My everyday life is way less painful and I think it’s time to pull the watering back out of retirement.

I won’t be closing my improvise business, it will be for evening appointments only.

So, when I’m home, I’m going to dig out my tools and get back at it.

So anyone needing, decking, fencing, lean to, sheds, patio, roofing, building, man caves or anything else, just hit me a message and I will get to see you as soon as possible!
